SELECTED EMPLOYMENT RESPONSIBILITIES

Batman Thrill Spectacular Show Manager 

Coordinate and oversee all necessary production elements of a pyrotechnic stunt show from auditions to the installation and maintenance of set and motor vehicles to multiple show days to winterizing the show for the following season. Some tasks  include the scheduling 3 casts of actors to accommodate up to four performances a day as park schedule requires, handling weather cancellations, changes in blocking due to vehicle difficulties, and other up to the minute needs of the production. In addition to on-set production needs and enhancing cast and crew safety and morale in high stress and exhausting schedules, administrative duties are also involved.

King Center Shops Supervisor & Coordinator

Responsible for enhancing safe and productive work areas in the costume shop, scene shop, and paint shop and for helping the three institutions that share the space cooperate professionally. Fill in for the Facility Technical Director as needed. Perform the tasks listed below that were also required of KC lead student staff member.

King Center Student Staff; Lead Student

Maintenance, organization, and technical support for the King Center facility. Support of the faculty, staff, students, and productions of CCD, MSCD, and UCD held within the King Center. Tasks included, but were not limited to, setting up and striking choral and orchestral risers, installation of traveler tracks and other rigging, changing platform flooring, assisting in the operation of the pivoting towers of the KC Rawls Theatre, hanging soft goods, creating special lighting for star acts, scheduling of student staff, moving musical equipment, setting up as needed for performances, cleaning venues, running lights, coordinating event elements with students, staff, faculty, and patrons. Serve as the King Center representative at evening events, which required set-up, time management, problem- solving, and anything else needed to ensure the success of rehearsals and events.
